The simplicity of the installation “Exposure o.T.” (Exposure untitled) brings about unexpected things: visitors spontaneously dance to the sound of David Reumüller’s band “Muscle Tomcat Machine”, do handstands and other gymnastics, play with each other and, above all, with what is happening on the screen as an echo of their own bodies. At first, owing to the digital resolution, little more than a grey area can be seen. When visitors enter the space of the installation, however, the image is exposed. Their own movements unite with the pattern, which in turn allows the physical interaction become its shape. The light becomes the material and the body the implementing medium. The sculptural quality of light can be physically shaped and experienced in an immediate way in the form of its inherent transience.
